Sweet Potato Corn Chowder

We are making Sweet Potato Corn Chowder and French Lentil Soup with Sausage this week.

French Lentil Soup with Sausage
French green lentils, garlic sausage, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, beef stock, bay leaf, dried thyme, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, sea salt & pepper.
Like other legumes, lentils are low in fat and high in protein and fiber.   Lentils have a mild, earthy flavor, and they're best if cooked with assertive flavorings.  The best, most delicate lentils are the peppery French green lentils.  Served chunky and unadorned this simple, peasant-style soup is perfect on a chilly fall evening.

Sweet potato, yams,  corn, onions, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, butter, heavy cream, parsley, vegetable stock, sea salt & pepper.

  1. Dear Catherine and Kathy,
Last night I tried your Lentil Soup. Wow! I have enjoyed all of your soups, but I thought that was the best Lentil Soup I have ever had. I like the big slices of carrots and sausage. Great flavor and wonderful variety of textures. Also- very satisfying- I 'm still full! Great Job! Have fun at Harrigans.
